children’s health

We all want our children to be healthy and happy, intelligent and resourceful, and to have the full range of life skills they will need to live productively and well.  The genetic makeup of the individual and the ability to handle each nutrient, the stage of development the child has reached from conception to adolescence and environmental influences such as infection, pollutants and food manufacture form a myriad of factors that contribute to your child’s overall health and wellbeing.

There are many common childhood health conditions which may benefit from nutritional therapy such as acne, allergies, eczema, digestive problems, and growing pains.  Or it may be that your child is hyperactive, has difficulty concentrating, is prone to temper tantrums,  suffers from panic attacks or is simply a fussy eater!

During your child’s consultation we will look at their health background in order to identify possible underlying factors which may be contributing their symptoms.  Together, we will form a personalised programme of dietary recommendations and lifestyle changes for your child and look at how these can be practically and realistically  integrated into your family’s daily routine.

In a very literal sense your child is made of food, so what they eat has a direct effect on how they feel and function
